Ashlee Simpson in “Newlyweds” Reality Show

“Joe knows that no one cared about Jessica before her reality show, and he’s hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect,” a Simpson spy says in this week’s issue of OK! Magazine.

This wouldn’t be Ashlee’s first turn as a reality star. In 2004, the “Pieces of Me” star fronted one season of The Ashlee Simpson Show on MTV.

Another reality show might not be such a bad idea, a music industry tells OK! : “She’s been struggling with record sales. Now that she’s really interesting again, a reality show could do wonders for her career. It’s a part of doing business for this family.”

Ashlee Simpson is pregnant!

First there were rumors that she might be pregnant and that's the reason of her recent engagement. It looks that this gossip is true, not to mention the fact that Ashley and Pete are planning to get married next month, at a friend's house in La Jolla, California, north of San Diego!

Ashely Simpson, 23, is engaged to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, 28, who initially said that the pregnancy rumors were a "witch hunt."

On Tuesday, Ashely, said during an interview with MTV after the show TRL in New York, "Some things you want to keep personal". That's the same as if she had said : "Yes. I'm pregnant!"

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are engaged

While in Colorado, for visiting Wentz's brother art exhibit, Pete Wentz poped up the big question " Asley, will you marry me?" , and she said yes.

So, the Fall Out Boy bassist is going to marry Jessica Simpson's younger sister.

“She has an amazing ring, and they are so in love,” their friends are telling. Plus that Ashlee’s parents, Popa Joe and Tina Simpson are thrilled! "We are totally happy" and "so excited to have Pete as part of (our) family.We are blessed," her dad says.
